It is my great honour and pleasure to invite you to the 15th AIPPI Baltic Conference, which will take place in Riga, Latvia, on 22-23 April 2027.
This conference marks a special milestone, since we celebrate the 15th anniversary of the AIPPI Baltic Conference, therefore we reflect on a tradition that has, for many years, brought together leading intellectual property professionals, innovators, business leaders, academics and policymakers from across the Baltic region and beyond.
There could hardly be a more fitting place for this anniversary gathering than Riga. For centuries, Riga has stood at the crossroads of trade routes, cultures, ideas and innovation. It is a city where history meets the future, where tradition coexists with technological advancement, and where new opportunities emerge from the interaction of diverse perspectives. Today, as innovation accelerates and intellectual property continues to shape economic development and global competitiveness, Riga once again serves as a meeting point for those driving progress and creating value through knowledge and creativity.
The conference will offer a unique forum for discussing the most significant developments in intellectual property law and practice. Together, we will explore the impact of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, evolving regulatory frameworks, and the changing role of intellectual property in fostering innovation, sustainable growth and economic resilience.
Beyond the professional programme, the conference will offer an excellent opportunity to strengthen existing relationships, build new connections, and exchange experiences with colleagues and friends from different jurisdictions. As always, we aim to combine high-quality discussions with the warm hospitality and vibrant atmosphere for which the Baltic Conferences are known.
